Most blogs – I dare say about 80% of them (yeah, I love the Pareto’s principle where everything runs on 80/20) – are nothing but junk. Yet, there are some blogs that are incredibly inspiring. You can never have enough of them. The writing is punchy, there’s a ton of information there, and the flow is racy. This is not the complete list, of course. I’ll make it a point to update it as I discover new, inspiring blogs to follow. For now, here are five blogs you should follow:
The Blog Of Impossible Things
Joel Runyon made the need to “Stretch and a live a life worth living” a brand complete with manifestos, a community, T-Shirts, and the like. You can read the blog, download and read his manifesto for free, and of course, get the “impossible into your inbox”. An interesting guy with a tendency to push himself physically and mentally with his triathlons, marathons, bungee jumping, and skydiving to speak of a few crazy things he does. Read it and your life will never be the same again.
Social Triggers
Social media is a new channel and you need the right away to approach it. There’s a lot of information out there and the likes of mashable.com cover it rather well. Yet, Social trigger is a fresh wave of information with a personality thrown in. For a start, you might want to check out this blog post about “How to Craft Contagious Content”, to sample the fresh reads.
Chris Guillebeau — The art of Non-conformity
If I ever came across someone who can travel, write, inspire, educate, and have a following bordering on the awesome, it’s Chris Gullibeau of the Art of Non-Conformity. His blog is the destination for just what the name means. Chris is on a mission to actually complete visiting all of 193 countries in the world. Last time I read his blog, I think he just has 54 countries or so left to visit.
Step Case Life Hack
While the blog is about life, business , productivity, and plenty of hacks in almost every imaginable area of life, it’s a singular source of daily inspiration. It’s a must have on every RSS reader. Some posts are long and detailed but they are incredibly awesome reads. Go ahead and subscribe to it.
Hack your life for the better.
