Reading List #9

It’s time to round up some of my best reads this week. I’ve always believed in the power of information and how much of a difference reading — as a hobby — does to make you a better person. It’s for this reason that I started this Reading List series just to reflect on some of the best posts on the Internet starting from personal productivity to making money online.

Here goes:

Randy Gage has been a great source of motivation for me for a long time now. If you haven’t checked his blog out, I strongly recommend you read through his powerful, short posts.

Debbie Dragon at Wisebread.com is a pro-writer who has been freelancing for more than 9 years now. She’s posted three riveting posts – among others – how to find freelancing jobs or clients in three parts: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. I am sure you’ll find it beneficial to start your freelance writing business.

As usual, Robert Bruce at Copyblogger has curated a list of some of the best social media links for you to peruse. Bookmark Copyblogger as it’s one of the best places to learn all about content development, copywriting, and blogging — the hallmarks of every successful online business or website.

If you are on Twitter, you will find Linda Bustos’s  post on Get Elastic Blog titled “6 Tips For Improving Twitter Link Click Through Rate” . While you are there, you’ll also find this cool info graphic on Social Media stats and information from around the world.

In the mood for some inspiration this weekend? One of the bloggers I fervently follow is Marcus Sheridan of The Sales Lion. He recently posted a guest post on Problogger about how he grew from being a small-time blogger to a professional paid speaker. Read up and get inspired.

Ever wondered if Google Ad sense program still works for online entrepreneurs? Pat Flynn of Smart Passive Income has detailed his experiments with a niche online site that pays $1800 to $2200 per month. In fact, he has plenty of experiments such as this so as to learn all about how Google Ad sense works to your benefit.

Do pitch in with some awesome reads you come across. I’d be glad to hear from you.
